MARY WALLACE passed away peacefully at Lion's Manor on Monday, February 14, 2005. Mary was predeceased by her husband Bill Evans and second husband Earl Wallace; brothers, John and Alex Klym. She leaves to mourn her daughter Pat Flaherty and husband Frank Beale in San Diego, CA, and daughter Gail Ruzicka (Jack) in Canyon Lake, CA; and her very special and caring sister Gladys Kwiecien. She also is survived by grandchildren, Heather Hesse, Ken Flaherty, Ron Flaherty, Catherine Clarke, Karen Hovanessian; great-grandchildren, Michael, Rain and Isabella Hesse and Brian Flaherty, Melissa Clark and Spencer Hovanessian. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, as well as extended family. Mary was born September 23, 1919. She married Bill in 1936 and raised two daughters in Winnipeg until they moved to California in 1957. After Bill passed away she returned to Winnipeg in 1975 and remarried in 1988. Mary was a kind hearted person who loved her family, and had many close friends. For the last three years she suffered from dementia. The family expresses their sincere gratitude to the staff of Lion's Manor for their consideration and special care given to Mary. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held.
