DORIS FLORENCE HENRY (nee CUBBON) Doris passed away peacefully on Friday, February 18, 2005 at the Victoria General Hospital at the age of 96 years. Doris was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, George. She leaves to mourn her passing and to cherish her memory her daughter Janice (Gerald) Adamache; her cousin Lillian Atchison of Montreal; and nieces, Kathy, Bonnie and Kelli. Doris will be remembered by her family for her love of music and as an accomplished pianist. She loved gathering with friends and family for a good game of cards, something she continued until the time of her passing. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to all her friends and neighbours for the kindness and support shared over the years. Also to the Home Care staff for the wonderful care given to Mom and to all the staff on the 3rd Floor N. at the Victoria Hospital for their warm and compassionate way. In keeping with Mom's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held.
