Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRUTH HAZEL MCBRIDE passed away peacefully on February 17, 2005. Ruth was born in Montreal and married Harvey McBride October 2, 1943. She later resided in Winnipeg Calgary, retiring with her husband to Victoria in 1979. Ruth was a devoted wife, mother and friend, placing others needs before her own. She enjoyed several years as a companion volunteer at Mt. Tolmie Hospital and Luther Court. Predeceased by son Alan in 1999, she is survived by her loving husband Harvey; daughter Brenda (Brian); sister-in-law Margaret; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Our sincere thanks to Oak Bay Kiwanis Pavilion staff and Dr. S. Matthews for their kindness and caring.
