Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRUTH JEAN MAYO April 18, 1953 - February 18, 2005 Peacefully in her sleep on February 18, 2005 with her family by her side, Ruth Mayo passed away at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 51. She is lovingly remembered by her four daughters, Mary (Ronald), Pamela, Cheryl, Cicely (Charles) and her lifelong companion Kim Trethart; her grandchildren, Jade, Aliyah and Derri. She is also survived by her mother Mary Mayo; brothers, Gilbert, Robert, Gordon (Irene), Dennis, Richard (Nelly); sisters, Marlene and Linda (Carl). She will be missed dearly by her uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and many friends. She was predeceased by her dad Charles Mayo and sister Donna Guimond. Ruth was born and raised in Winnipeg. She was always smiling and a very caring person who was known to have a kindred spirit. The family would like to thank the St. Boniface Palliative Care unit and the Cancer Care at Health Sciences Centre for all their kindness. A special thanks to Dr. Sisler and Dr. Amed. Prayers 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 22 at Bardal Funeral Home. Funeral service 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 23 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St. Interment Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Thank you for the years you gave us. Please know that in our hearts, you are always there .
