BRYAN LESLIE MCFADYEN July 14, 1947 - February 18, 2005 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Bryan McFadyen on February 18, 2005 at St. Boniface Hospital with his family by his side at the early age of 57 years. Bryan will be sadly missed by his wife Judith; sons, TJ (Kim) and Michael (Jaylene); two precious granddaughters, Brittany and Allyssa; brother David (Cheryl) of Headingley and their children, Chad, Troy, Jason, Craig, Blair and Shayla-Dawn; sister Linda (Dusty) of Stonewall and their children, Lisa (Fern) Vieville and David (Michelle) Tindall. Bryan was predeceased by his father Bill McFadyen in 1977 and mother Violet in 1994. Bryan was born in Winnipeg and at the age of five moved to Camper, MB where he grew up until he moved to Winnipeg to start work at CNR where he was employed for 33 years. He had a great passion for baseball and played on many teams throughout his years. Bryan was best known as a fun and loving grandfather and his proudest moments were watching his two granddaughters grow and learn. The family would like to show their sincere appreciation to all their friends who helped and supported the family in their time of need. A special thank you is said to John Smyk for the kind friendship he showed to Bryan and for allowing Bryan the chance to travel and see Canada at its greatest. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at the St. Boniface Hospital, Palliative Care ward for their wonderful care and support. A celebration of Bryan's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 22 at the Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. with interment and reception to follow at South Transcona Community Club. Flowers gratefully declined, donations may be made in Bryan's honour to CancerCare Manitoba. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN LAWN FUNERAL HOME 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. 982-7550
