LEONARD GOETZ It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we the family of Leonard announce his passing on Sunday, February 20, 2005 at St. Boniface Hospital with his loving family by his side. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Sophie of 45 years; daughter Eileen; son Renny (Marilyn); brother Louie along with many grand children and great-grandchildren who will miss him deeply. Dad worked in the construction industry all his working years, mostly in Canada. In 1967 dad travelled to Ski Lanka to build an air terminal. He was very well known amongst the construction industry, He loved sports especially golf. While in Ski Lanka dad hit two holes in one in three weeks. Dad was very well liked friend and neighbour, he loved to help others and lend a hand when needed. He enjoyed his winters in Phoenix. The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors of St. Boniface Palliative Care for all their wonderful compassion and care through this difficult time. In lieu of flowers donations in Leonard's memory may be made to the Humane Society, 5 Kent Rd. Cremation has taken place, a memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 24 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home 220 Hespeler Ave. Arrangements entrusted to: VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME CREMATORIUM 220 Hespeler Ave. @ Henderson Hwy. 668-3151
