ANNE ETHEL MCCALLUM (nee GOODMAN) Peacefully with her family at her side at the Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg on February 21, 2005, our cherished mother, Anne Ethel McCallum, passed away at the age of 89 years. Mum was predeceased by her husband Roy in 1985; and her brothers, John and Jim; and sister Ada; and sister-in-law Irene. She is survived by her five children, Judy (Darryl), James (Linda) and grandchildren, Wanda (great-grandchildren, Chandra and Bradin) and Jeff, Patty (Dave) and grandsons, Robert and Scott, Donald (Bev) and granddaughters, Heather and Pam, Kim (John) and grandson Tom; her brother George (Kay) Goodman and sister-in-law Peggy Goodman and her nieces and nephews. Mom was born in Winnipeg on July 5, 1915. She was a kind, gentle and nurturing Mum. Mum worked for many years at the Hudson's Bay Company in the Fur Department and on the Order Desk. Later in her life, she worked at the Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg, retiring after 25 years of service as Supervisor of Housekeeping. We have many memories of Mum. Mum enjoyed spending time with her family, vacationing with us at many different locations as well as being at the lake and the many family card games played there. She loved her grandchildren and watched with great pride as they matured and started on their own path in life. In keeping with Mum's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg, c'c Resident Fund or because of her love of animals to the Winnipeg Humane Society. The family would like to thank all of the staff of the Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg especially B I for their kindness and generosity to Mum and especially for their compassion extended to her family. We would also like to thank Drs. A. McGowan, A. Grogan and P. Bhanot for their care for Mum throughout her life. We love you Mum and we will miss you. THOMSON FUNERAL HOME 669 Broadway - 783-7211
