CHARLES HAROLD WRIGHT May 17, 1912 - February 20, 2005 We are sad to announce the passing of our Dad on Sunday, February 20, 2005 at Deer Lodge Centre. Charles was predeceased by his parents, his wife Minnie, and brother Clarence. He leaves to mourn, his daughters, Barbara and Debbie (and Little Deb); sister-in-law Marguerite; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Lina; nieces and nephews. Charles was born in Regina and raised in Carnduff, SK. As a young man, Dad came to Winnipeg and started working at the Tax Department at City Hall, where he remained until his retirement. Dad served in the Navy during the Second World War, a period of his life he seldom talked about. His summers were spent with his family, vacationing at Winnipeg Beach, Keewatin, Detroit Lakes, Riding Mountain and the occasional trips east to Ottawa and New Brunswick. For the last two years, Dad was a resident on Tower 7 at Deer Lodge. He was known for his blue eyes and lovely smile. We wish to thank all the staff on T7 for their kindness and understanding. Cremation is planned with a private family service to follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, MB R2L 1X3. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE 885-9715 Family and friends are invited to sign the Book of Condolence at www.chapellawn.mb.ca
