He left school at an early age to go to work and became a jack of all trades. He worked for the dairies for a total of 40 years, retiring at 68, but he was contracted back and continued to work until he once again retired at the age of 73. Dad enjoyed the Silverwood Retirees luncheon, missing only one and the long chats on the phone with his long-time pal Ralph Poirier, they spent hours solving the nation's problems . Dad grew up on College Avenue as a young boy and later hand built his own home on College which he occupied for 58 years. Dad sold the family home in August 2004 and moved to the Portsmouth Retirement Residence. He had a beautiful view from his window and sat for hours enjoying the birds and his two pet wild rabbits. A very special thank you to Doctors, Simon Wong, Nolan Finlayson, Tony Herd and his personal physician for many years Dr. Gorski. They also would like to thank the staff on the Fourth and Fifth Floors of Seven Oaks Hospital.
