SUSAN IRENE CSIZMADIA October 25, 1964 - February 18, 2005 It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, Susan, at her residence in Edmonton, AB, on Friday, February 18, 2005, at the age of 40 years. Remaining to cherish her memory are her longtime friend and partner Zoe Norquay of Edmonton; parents, Steve and Connie Csizmadia of Winnipeg; brother Mark; niece Megan, whom she adored; as well as numerous family members and friends in Hungary, Canada and New Zealand. Susan was born and educated in Winnipeg. She attended Assiniboine School and Sturgeon Creek Collegiate and participated in many activities and sports during her school years. Susan loved to travel and joined the Air Force, where she was stationed in various places throughout Canada. During this time, she met many friends who she always enjoyed keeping in touch with. Whenever Susan was back in Winnipeg, she always visited her longtime childhood friend, Jim Summerton. Susan's interests were many; photography, cooking, playing her guitar and computers. She also had a great interest in cars and along with her brother they were working on several projects. Susan was very proud of her Hungarian heritage and enjoyed spending time with her niece Megan and teaching her many things; their Hungarian heritage and how to cook, to name a few. Susan's spirit was fun and loving. She made friends easily and her caring touch will be missed by all who knew her. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 25 at 11:00 a.m. in Blessed John XXIII Roman Catholic Church, 3390 Portage Ave. at Rouge Road, with Rev. Msgr. Norman J. Chartrand, P.A. presiding and Rev. Msgr. Maurice J. Comeault, P.H. concelebrant. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Susan's memory may be made to the Spinal Cord Research Centre, University of Manitoba, 436 BMSB, 730 William Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 3J7.
