Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM (BEAVER) BENJAMIN SMITH August 1, 1936 - February 19, 2005 Suddenly on Saturday, February 19, 2005 in the comfort of his home, it is with great sadness we announce the passing of William (Beaver) Smith, aged 68 years of Winnipeg. Beaver leaves to mourn, his best friend and longtime partner Carol Ann Matheson; sister Margaret; brothers, Terrance and Manny; stepchildren, Shannon, Dennis, Barb, Ken and Pam; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Beaver was predeceased by his son Wesley. Beaver worked for C.N. for numerous years and later as a home renovator. He enjoyed his retirement spending countless hours playing solitaire. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 25 in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, MB with viewing held one hour prior to. Interment will follow in the St. Peter's Cemetery. A simple man with a loving heart, It brings such sadness that we must part. Until we meet again. Rest Peacefully Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.

I just wanted to thank all of Uncle Beaver's friends, relatives-Margaret, Elsie, Manny,Terrance and those who were close to my Uncle Beaver especially Carol and her family, who all came to pay their last respects to Beaver.
