JEANIE HELEN PARSONS 1921 - 2005 On Sunday, February 20, 2005 Jeanie Parsons passed away at Meadowood Personal Care Home. She was predeceased by her husband Robert (Bert) Parsons in January of 2004. Jeanie was born in Winnipeg, MB, the only child of William and Julia Aitken (Aitken) and only grandchild of 'Mumsie'. She was educated at Lord Roberts and Kelvin High School. She married her beloved Bert on October 3, 1942 and they remained sweethearts throughout 61 years of marriage. Jeanie was, for many years, an active member of the former St. Vital United Church and the Duke of Kent Legion. She will be lovingly remembered by her children and grandchildren: Robin Williamson of Calgary; Kenneth (Debra) of Surrey, BC and daughter Sheri; David (Linda) of Brandon and son Thomas James (T.J.); Jeffrey (Maxine) of Whiterock, BC and children, Phoebe and Maxwell. She will also be fondly remembered by the many members of the extended Parsons family. Jeanie was a kind and gentle person with a great capacity for friendship. She will be missed by many, but especially her dear friends of over 75 years, Zoe and Edie. Her best times were spent at the family cottage in Victoria Beach, happy in the company of family and friends. Robin, Ken, Dave and Jeff would like to acknowledge and thank their cousin Gerry for the special care and devotion she showed to their mother. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the Staff of Meadowood Personal Care Home for their kindness and support to Jeanie.
