OLGA KOBERSTEIN (LAUSMAN) January 16, 1904 - February 22, 2005 Peacefully on Tuesday, February 22, 2005, in Meadowood Manor Personal Care Home, at the age of 101 years. Left to mourn are daughters, Ida Tulman, Nita (Tofiel) Hart, Margaret (Gerald) Trayturik and Betty (Mike) Debroni; daughters-in-law, Annie Lausman and Liz Lausman; and 19 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Olga was predeceased by her husband Joseph Lausman in February 1978 and her second husband Rudolf Koberstein in September 1983 and also her sons, Robert Lausman in 1988 and Ed Lausman in 1993. Olga was born January 16, 1904 in the Ukraine and came to Canada in 1927 where she settled with Joseph and her family in Minitonas, MB. They moved to Winnipeg in 1954. Olga was a loving and kind woman who loved to cook and be with her family and friends. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff in Meadowood Manor Personal Care Home for their wonderful care and compassion during the final years of her life. Funeral service and celebration of Olga's life will be held on Tuesday, March 1 at Mission Baptist Church, 771 Sargent Ave., at 1:30 p.m. Viewing will take place one-half hour prior to service. Interment will be at Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, donations may be made to Meadowood Manor Building Fund.
