WILLIAM ODAISKY It is with great sadness we announce the passing of William Odaisky on Thursday, February 24, 2005, at the age of 81 years after a lengthy illness. William is survived by his beloved daughter Darlene; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Jean; parents George and Irene; and his brothers, Fred, Nick, John and Mike. William is the last spoke and now the wheel is complete. Prior to his retirement in 1988 Bill was employed with Dominion Bronze for 23 years. For the last nine years, Bill had enjoyed the company and friendship of the many residents at Oakland Gardens and the family would like to thank them all. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 28 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., with Rt. Rev. Canon Vladimir Olach as officiant. Interment to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Murray, Gordon and David Odaisky, Robert and Kamil Kozikowski and Denis Sanderson. Honorary pallbearers will be Olga Usick and Marlene Winsor. The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to the Concordia Hospital staff for their kindness and care.
