Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNICHOLAS B. VANDE MOSSELAER June 16, 1961 - February 24, 2005 Surrounded by love, Nick passed away with peace and blessings. Forever in our hearts he leaves his strengths and love with his wife, Catherine; loving children, Christopher, Michael and Nicole. Nick leaves many family and friends whom he respected and loved. From a young boy to the gentleman he was, always he had an indomitable spirit. Nick lived each day with a passion, which was infused into every aspect of his being. Throughout his career with GM-Electro Motive Div. and CPR he will always be respected for his hard work, challenging his own assumptions and listening to his co-workers. He never stopped educating himself and sharing his knowledge with those who asked. Nick was a leader, dependable and anyone could rest assured he would complete the job surpassing all expectations. Nick took great pride in his three children, never missing an opportunity to love, enjoy or guide them. A strong and loving husband, in his silent pain he gave us his courage. His mechanical wisdom was shared with his children and all who asked. Throughout his life he gave with a generous nature, coaching his sons in football with Pride! Nick volunteered his time and talents throughout his life with a variety of associations. Those who met Nick along his journey will always appreciate his gifts. Two roads diverged in a wood, and I - I took the one less travelled by, And that has made all the difference. Memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 1 at 2:30 p.m. at Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Canadian Cancer Society. I'm sure words cannot express your grief. Nick touched the lives of many many people in his short life. I knew him only for a short time, yet he made an impression on me. I worked for EMD in London, ON. When I would come to the CP Weston shop, Nick was instrumental in helping me get my work done. He supported my efforts and did whatever was needed to get the job done. People like him are very rare. I will always have a great deal of respect for him. I will never forget him. Please accept my sympathies. - Posted by: Jocelyn Lambier (Co-Worker) on: Feb 28, 2005
