WILLIAM BURAK 1923 - 2005 On February 24, 2005, our beloved father and papa passed away peacefully surrounded by his family to be with his loving wife Alice. Left to remember his life are his children, Elaine Campbell (John), Judy McEwan (James) and his beloved granddaughter Eleanor. Dad is also survived by his sisters, Anne, Michaelda, Evangeline, Helen and Josephine; his brother Joe; sister-in-law Anita, along with his many nieces and nephews. Dad was predeceased by his parents Michael and Mary Burak and his brothers, John, Victor and Marion. Bill enlisted in the Royal Canadian Regiment in 1942, wounded in the Italian Campaigne and finished the war in Apeldoorn, Holland in 1945. After the war he met and married Alice in 1948. He worked for the CN for 44 years and retired in 1982. A private family service will be held. Free at Last and always to be with us.
