Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHILDA STOESZ (nee TEICHROEW) July 28, 1940 - February 25, 2005 It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend at the Grace Hospice Centre on Friday, February 25, 2005. Hilda will be lovingly remembered by her husband Neil of 45 years and her four daughters; Irene (Ken), grandchildren Nathan, Aaron, Ethan, Naomi and Bethany; Bonita (Harold) grandchildren Marcus, Marena and Michael; Norma (Dennis), grandchildren Mitchel, Emily, Mikayla and Kurtis; Janet (Karl), grandchildren Andrew, Donovan, Lance and Garrett. She also leaves behind brothers Harry, John, and Bill, sisters Ellen and Barb and their families. Hilda was predeceased by her parents Henry and Barbara Teichroew. Hilda was born on July 28, 1940 in the community of Gnadenfeld, and was raised there along with her siblings. In 1958, she was baptized upon her confession of faith in the Altona Bergthaler Church. Her personal relationship with Jesus Christ was evident in her everyday life. Hilda married Neil Stoesz on July 5, 1959. Together they built a life, living in Headingley for more than 45 years. For over 45 years Mom and Dad attended Home Street Mennonite Church. Mom was involved with many ministries there. She also spent many years volunteering with the Headlingley 4-H Club. Mom started working for HomeCare in the mid 1970's, providing nurturing care for many. She was very much appreciated by her clients. After retirement she enjoyed fellowshipping with family and friends. Mom was known by many for many different qualities; one being a great cook. She enjoyed needlework, gardening and scrapbooking. Her sense of humour was shared with many. Mom's greatest joys were her personal relationship with Jesus Christ and her family. Honoured pallbearers will be her 11 grandsons. Thank you to Dr. Macek and the staff at Grace Hospital and the staff at Grace Hospice for their excellent care of our precious wife and mother. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made the Canadian Diabetic Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 3, at 11:00 a.m. at the Home Street Mennonite Church, 318 Home St. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course. I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day; and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing. 2Timothy 4:7-8 KLASSEN FUNERAL HOME 1897 Henderson North of McIvor 338-0331
