Soon after she returned to Winnipeg, she met the love of her life, Joe. During this time Trudy completed her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Manitoba while being employed at the Holiday Inn. Trudy's love for adventure led her and Joe backpacking through Europe. After leaving the Holiday Inn, Trudy joined the family business at Tudor House in Selkirk, MB. In 1995, Trudy and Joe married and resided in Winnipeg for several years before building their dream home in Oakbank, MB. In 2001, Trudy and Joe were blessed with their son Christopher. In 2003, beautiful Isabella-boo was born completing their lives. Trudy was a great inspiration to her husband Joe and they looked forward to growing old with each other. Trudy will always be remembered as being a devoted wife and loving mother. She was kind and gentle and loved spending time with her children. She had many talents including crafts, cooking, baking, scrap-booking and creating wonderful theme parties. Trudy was known for her infectious smile, kind words for all and always giving good advice and a silly joke or two. She will be greatly missed and remembered by many...an outstanding role model to all. CHRISTOPHER ALESSANDRO MICHAEL COSTA February 19, 2001 - February 27, 2005 Christopher was a bright and sensitive little boy with a devilish smile and bright twinkling big brown eyes. He spent his days playing with his little sister Isabella, showing her his cars and trucks. Mommy and Daddy cherished the times with Christopher and Isabella on family outings. He loved the time he spent with his Mommy doing arts and crafts, playtime and baking. Christopher and Daddy would often have grand adventures biking and he was always willing to be Daddy's assistant while building and fixing things. He made many friends at gymnastics and the Oakbank Kids Korner where he spent countless hours playing, learning and having fun. It brings us great comfort knowing that Christopher is in his Mommy's loving arms in Heaven. You will forever be in our hearts and never forgotten. We love you BaBa. I'm shocked. I have nothing but good memories of Trudy, growing up with her. I remember in the old nursery school in the Tudor House basement, re-creating an entire Haunted House fair ride, spending hours to make it as spooky and fun as possible. We never saw each other much in our adult years, but I remember her as a kindred spirit, creative and fun. My sympathy to all your family. - Posted by: Sandi Lee (Friend) on: Mar 25, 2005

Dear Joe, Isabella, and Ashley and family, I remember Trudy as a fun-loving, mischievious type person who would always like to try some one-liner or joke on me, and we would both get a great laugh out of it. I remember the sincere pride in her face when I asked about the children. They were definitely the joy in her life. I would often see Joe and Trudy around Selkirk and see the joy on each other's face with the comfort of just being in each other's company. Trudy and Christopher are now up in heaven in God's loving care. - Posted by: Scott Wazney (Co-Worker) on: Mar 02, 2005
