CORNELIUS A. FRIESEN Peacefully on Saturday, February 26, 2005 at the Morris Hospital, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather Cornelius A. Friesen passed away at the age of 81 years. He was predeceased by his parents, three brothers, and two sisters. He will be lovingly remembered by his loving wife of 55 years Mary; his children, Henrietta (Ken), Erna (Don), Harold (Lois), Donald (Karen), Judy (Jerry), Karen (Randy), and Dennis (Heather); 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; one brother; four sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. Dad was born in the Lowe Farm area on August 23, 1923 and married Mary on October 9, 1949. Dad loved to farm, spend time with his family, the church family, and participated in volunteer projects with MCC. He will be fondly remembered and missed by the many people he touched by his kindness and actions. The family would like to thank the staff and Dr. VanNiekerk at Boundary Trails, the staff at Morris Hospital, Pastor Art Hiebert, and the church family and community for your support and prayers. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 4 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lowe Farm Bergthaler Church. There will be viewing at Morris Funeral Home on Thursday from 1:00 until 6:00 p.m., and at the church prior to the service. Memorial donations may be made to MCC.
