ANNE DECKA Peacefully on Monday, February 28, 2005 at Holy Family Nursing Home, Anne Decka passed away at the age of 88 years. She was predeceased by her parents Caroline and Theodore; husband Bill; brother Jerry and sister Ollie. Anne will be missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Marlene (Richard) Marynick; granddaughter Cathy; son Richard (Debra). During her life, Anne worked at Central Furniture (the business Anne and Bill built together), and at the Lincoln Motor Hotel as one of the banquet girls. During her retirement years Anne cherished time spent with her children and granddaughter. Anne was an avid gardener and enjoyed sharing the harvest from her garden. The family would like to thank all those who visited Anne during her years at Holy Family. A heartfelt thank you to all staff on the St. Francis Unit for the care and compassion given to our mother, and to Sister Monica for the prayers shared with Anne. • My mother Anne Chmara worked with your mother for many years at the Lincoln. I (Joy Knysh) worked for a year or so for extra money while in High School. I was 16 years old then and it was always fun to work with your mother. I hope she had a wonderful healthy life and I pray she will have a gentle passing to God.
