YVETTE MARIE BLANCHE DOIRON Peacefully on Tuesday, March 1, 2005, with her son Gerry and daughter Suzanne, and her sister Jeanne at her side, Yvette passed away at St. Boniface Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond (2003); also by her sisters, Helene and Germaine; and her brothers, Louis, Joseph, and Henri. Yvette will be loving remembered by her one son Gerry and Donna; and one daughter Suzanne and husband Gavin; also her sisters, Jeanne, Annette, Pierrette (British Columbia), Clothilde (British Columbia); as well as her grandsons, Raymond and Adam. Yvette started her life on July 7, 1929 in St. Laurent, MB. She moved to the city at a young age, and worked for St. Boniface City Hall, where she met the love of her life. Yvette had a very strong passion in life. She always found ways to make life special for others. She made many friends, play cards, and socializing. Mom leaves us now to be with our father. God bless you both. Special thank you to our Aunt Jeanne for guiding us with Mom. Also to her special friends at Appleton Estates Edna, Sadie, Maureen, and Olga. You are No. 1 Mom. Gerry and Suzanne would like to express their sincere thanks to Dr. M. Kahn and the nurses of 6A Family Medical at St. Boniface Hospital. Special thanks to the following nurses, Kim, Charlotte, Dennis, Tracy, and Annie. Thanking for helping us make our mother's next journey comfortable and painless. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Yvette's memory to the Heart Stroke Foundation, 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6 or CancerCare Manitoba, 1160-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9, would be appreciated. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 4 at 7:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. No. 1 East at Navin Road. Interment to follow at a later date in Green Acres Cemetery. The way both of you spoke the last time I saw you at Maple Leaf, I know she must have been very proud of both of you. I hope the good memories of her will help you through this difficult time.
