STEVE PICH Peacefully, on Sunday, February 27, 2005, Steve Pich, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away at his residence at the age of 77 years. He is survived by his wife of nearly 49 years, Betty Pich; daughter and son-in-law, Dianne and Mark Hatch of Toronto; son and daughter-in-law, David and Jacqui Pich of Australia. Steve was a loving grandfather to Andrew, Hollie, Kendra, Carson, Elisabeth, Meg and Tom. Steve was born in Walkleyburg, MB. He enjoyed a long career locally with Canada Packers. His job involved travel at times, which took him away from his beloved Winnipeg. In later years, travel became a regular part of his life, as he went off to visit family and grandchildren. Steve was an active volunteer in many organizations associated with his passions in life - his children, his cottage, and sports-especially baseball and hockey. Steve will be missed... Memorial service will be held on Friday, March 4 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. If friends desire, donations may be made in Steve's memory to the Manitoba Heart Association or Manitoba Lung Association.
