KATHLEEN (KAY) HELEN SHAW (nee DIROM) With great sadness we announce the passing of a wonderful wife and mother, Kathleen Shaw, on February 21, 2005, in White Rock, BC. Born May 3, 1925, in Victoria, Kathleen moved with her husband to Winnipeg, MB, where she worked, raised her family and spent many enjoyable years. In 1987, they moved to White Rock. She is survived by her husband Ray; her daughters, Gail Werschler (Gary), Patricia Jessiman (Kenn); sons, Gary Shaw (Anine) and Ken Shaw; grandchildren, Christopher, Jessica, Brad, Don (Christine), Blair, Elliott, Benjamin and Scott; and great-grandchildren, Trinity and Kadence; sister Marguerite (Bob) Taylor of Victoria. Private services were held at Valley View Funeral Home. We wish to thank Drs. J. Scott, Skepast, Karvat and the many health care professionals, both a Peace Arch Hospital and Surrey Clinic. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be directed to the BC Cancer Foundation.
