Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGUSTAVE (GUS) MALENFANT 1938 - 2005 Gus passed away peacefully at the Misericordia Interim Care Unit on Wednesday, March 2, 2005. He is survived by his wife Solange; daughters, Suzanne (Ben) Benoit, Denise (Richard) Johnson and two granddaughters Brittany and Taylor. He is also leaving behind sisters, Antoinette, Victore and Madeleine and two brothers Ovila and Benoit. Gus made a career in the Air Force that took him all over Canada and Europe. Gus was a caring and loving husband and father that will be missed by all. Special thanks to the staff of Misericordia Interim Care Unit and Grace General Hospital for the care and support provided. A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 7 at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed John XXIII Roman Catholic Church, 3390 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to one of the following: Grace General Hospital Foundation, 300 Booth Dr., Winnipeg, MB R3J 3M7, Misericordia Care Centre Foundation, 99 Cornish Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3C 1A2, MS Society (Winnipeg Chapter), 400-141 Bannatyne Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3B 0R3 or CancerCare Manitoba, 1160-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
