Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNA KOTELKO Peacefully on March 2, 2005 at Heritage Lodge, Winnipeg, Anna Kotelko passed away at the age of 91 years. Anna was born March 1, 1914 at Krydor, SK, and moved to Great Deer, SK, where she grew up with a large loving family. Her family actively participated in concerts and were all musically inclined. Throughout her life she continued to play the harmonica, mandolin and organ. She shared this love of music with her husband, Fred, whom she married in 1939. The family moved to Warren, MB in 1942 where they raised their children, Stephanie Hore, Lorraine (Dave) Minaker, Bud Kotelko, Myron (Alice) Kotelko and Myra (Gordon) Langrell. Mom will always be remembered for her love of flowers and gardening and her pride and joy of creating a comfortable home. Friends and family loved to stop in to visit and could never leave without enjoying Mom's good food and great hospitality. The highlight of her life were her 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Baba could always be found mending their clothes or cooking their favourite meals. Her love was unconditional. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Barbara Charko; husband Fred and infant son Terry; brothers, Peter, Ted, Jack, Walter and Eugene; sisters, Stephanie and Slawka and sister-in-law Alice Charko. Gratitude is expressed to the wonderful staff at Heritage Lodge where Mom spent the last year of her life. Prayers will be held on Sunday, March 6 at 7:00 p.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 7 at 11:00 a.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Interment will follow at Warren Cemetery. Rev. Bonita Garrett will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mom's memory may be made to the charity of your choice. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
