ALMA SWARYCHEWSKI (nee OSNACH) It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Alma Swarychewski, on Friday, February 25, 2005, at the Foyer Valade Care Home, at the age of 77 years. Remaining to cherish her memory are her children, Gary (Judy), Allan (Gail), Julie, Jerry and Debrah (Richard); grandchildren, Gary Jr., Danelle and Michael; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Alma was predeceased by her husband Mike; parents, Nicholas and Julia Osnach; brothers, John, Walter, Mike, Metro and Alec; and sisters, Anne, Alice and Natalie. Alma was born in Broad Valley, Manitoba, September 23, 1927. Mom was a very special lady who loved to cook, bake and take care of her family. She enjoyed her weekly bingo for entertainment and also the casino. Mom loved the outdoors and her gardening. She was a very proud lady and a selfless person who always put others first. We will miss her dearly but she will forever be in our hearts. A Celebration of Alma's Life was held on Tuesday, March 1, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's All Beliefs and Faiths Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Avenue at Sharp Blvd. A private family interment will take place in Broad Valley, Manitoba at a later date. Our family would like to thank Foyer Valade and especially the 3rd floor Angels for the wonderful care and support they gave to Alma and our family.
