THERESA (TESSA) HANESIAK (nee FEDUN) January 27, 1945 - March 1, 2005 Peacefully on Tuesday, March 1, 2005, Tessa Hanesiak (nee Fedun) passed away from a lengthy illness at Riverview Health Centre with her family by her side. Tessa leaves to cherish her beautiful memory; her mother Elizabeth Fedun; her daughters, Amanda (Iain), Tracy (Ken) and Rebecca (Dan); and her grandchildren, Joshua, Cale, Amelia, Rea and Jaidon; her siblings, Sandra, Connie, Stephen, Michael and Peter along with her Aunty Mary, Aunty Dorothy, cousins in British Columbia and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her father Alex Fedun; grandmother (Baba) Melanie Malofie; grandfather (Dodi) Alexander Malofie and baby sister Margaret Fedun. Tessa's courage and strength during her illness was admired by all. She always had a smile for everyone. She was truly a blessing to those that knew her and will be deeply missed. A special thank you to Hope, Amber and the wonderful support of the Palliative Care Unit at Riverview. Prayers will be held on Sunday, March 6 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 7 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 737 Bannerman Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tessa's memory to Cancer Care Manitoba Foundation, 675 McDermot Ave., Room ON1160, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
