Date of Passing: Mar 02, 2005
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM THOMAS MORRISON 1942 - 2005 With heavy hearts the family of Bill Morrison announces his sudden passing on March 2, 2005. Bill was predeceased by his infant daughter Cindy Anne; and his father James J. Morrison. Bill was a quiet and private man who nevertheless enjoyed a good joke. His lifelong passion for aviation led him to the Canadian Air Force, Transair and finally to a career in maintenance at Air Canada. Relic was well known for calling a snag and insisting on meticulous repair. The challenge of solving complicated mechanical problems was something he deeply missed when he retired. Bill had a steel-trap memory for anything to do with aircraft and the Second World War. He loved movies, reading and playing bridge. Dad/Opa was a generous father and grandfather who especially enjoyed the mischievous side of the kids. We would like to extend thanks to the EMT and Seven Oaks Emergency Room Teams who tried so hard to keep Bill with us. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 7 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. If so desired, donations may be made in Bill's memory to a charity of your choice.
