Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIRENE ST-ONGE (nee RIEL) Peacefully, with family at her side at Tache Centre, on March 4, 2005, Irene, 87 years of age, went to meet her Maker. She will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Lauraine Brown, Jacqueline (Leonard) Johnson; six grandchildren, Stephen Logan, Karen Gray, Shawn Johnson, Jason Johnson, Tanis Brown, Daniel Brown; 10 great-grandchildren; niece Jo-Ann Kirton who was a daughter to Irene; and nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her husband Gerard; her sister Agnes; and her brothers, Roland (Bud) and Paul; and her son-in-law Charles Brown. Irene was born October 19, 1917 in St. Boniface to Joseph Riel and Caroline Ayotte. Mom was generous, loving and devoted to her family. Many thanks to the caring staff of 2ABC at Tache Centre and to Dr. Erhardt. Mom and dad both donated their bodies to the Department of Anatomy at the University of Manitoba, subsequently there will be no funeral service. A private family memorial service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tache Centre, 185 Despins St., Winnipeg, MB R2H 2B3.
