I was struck with profound sadness upon learning of Sandy's death. I will always remember her fondly for her her keen sense of sportmanship and competitiveness on the track and her congenial nature in everyday life. She was a valuable member of our track team and a cherished and respected friend. My most sincere sympathy to Mrs Ophof and her family. “When tomorrow starts without her, Don't think you're far apart, For every time you think of her, She's right there, in your heart.” - Posted by: Val Bishop (Friend) on: Mar 14, 2005
