EMILE LARAMEE Peacefully at his home on March 5, 2005 Emile Laramee passed away at the age of 75 years. Emile is survived by his sisters, Albertine McCaughan, Augustine Prefontaine, Yvonne Robidoux; his brothers, Gustave (Helene) Joe (Eva); his brothers-in-law, Harold Olson, John Ciwko; and numerous nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents, Yvonne and Edmond; his sisters, Cecile Prefontaine, Denise Olson, Pauline Ciwko; his brothers, Leon, Marcel and infant brother Andre. Emile was born on October 5, 1929 in Baie St. Paul and spent most of his life in St. Eustache on the family farm. In his early years, Emile worked for local farmers and as a professional truck driver. He also spent many hours helping his brother, Gus at Laramee Service. His interests in life were snowmobiling, fishing and travelling west to visit family and friends. He will also be missed by his local coffee and puzzle buddies. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to his niece, Lucille Combot (his real guardian angel) for her loving care and kindness. Cremation has taken place and a farewell memorial will be held on Saturday, March 12 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Eustache Roman Catholic Church. Reception will be held in the parish hall and interment to follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba ON1160 - 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or charity of your choice.
