JANINE TRUMBLEY Peacefully, with her family at her side, on March 5, 2005 Janine passed away at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 50. Janine will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 32 years, Brian of Gillam; son David (Nadine) of Riverton; parents, Les and Gen Hurl of Victoria; sisters, Sylvia (Jacques), Cathy, and Jacki (Norm); brothers, Michael, Doug (Lisa) and Don (Shelly). Janine will also be missed by Brian's family, extended family and friends. Janine was predeceased by her mother-in-law Ivy Trumbley, in 2003. Janine was born in Paris, France, and returned to Canada with her family at a young age. She grew up in Winnipeg, graduating from John Taylor Collegiate. Prior to moving to Gillam Janine was employed by Manitoba Health Commission for five years. Until her retirement Janine served as Director of A.B.C. Daycare in Gillam for 14 years. Janine's passion was children, both at her job and in other aspects of her life. Janine was loved by many people because of her kind heart, caring personality and understanding nature. The family would like to thank the staff at the Health Sciences Centre who work on the fourth and seventh floors for their attentiveness and care. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 11 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. with interment and reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Janine's name may be made to Mothers Against Drunk Driving, 586 River Rd., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0E8 or Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7. Goodnight sweet Janine. May angles guide thee to thy rest.
