Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHEINRICH (HENRY) KROEKER September 25, 1927 - March 7, 2005 Surrounded by his loving family Henry Kroeker, went to be with his lord, on Monday, March 7, 2005. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Kaethe; children, Helmut (Elfriede), Henry, Aenny (Gerhard); grandchildren, Chris, Rick, Carrie, Heather and Ryan; brothers and sisters, Katerina Kroeker, Agathe Peters, Jacob Kroeker (Anni), (Linde Kroeker), Maria Regier (Peter), Aenny Hamm (Hans) and Susanne Loewen (Peter) and many nieces and nephews. He joins in heaven his parents, Abram and Agathe (nee Loewen); and brothers, Hans and Abram. Henry was born on September 25, 1927 in Neuendorf, Ukraine. After the Second World War, Henry immigrated to Paraguay, where in 1950 he and Kaethe were married. In 1955, along with their two sons, they started a new life in Winnipeg. A year after their arrival a daughter was born. Henry built a career in the construction industry, becoming efficient at many trades, moving on to home building and project management. Henry was an active member of Douglas Mennonite Church. In his leisure time he enjoyed fishing, golfing, and watching football. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 11, at the Douglas Mennonite Church, 1517 Rothesay St. The family would like to thank the staff at Bethania Personal Care Home (Centre Station) and Chaplain Gerhard Friesen for their loving care and support.
