Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELSIE ISFELD August 10, 1922 - March 8, 2005 Peacefully, Elsie passed away at the Lions Prairie Manor in Portage la Prairie on Tuesday, March 8, 2005. Elsie was predeceased by her husband, Harry in 1988; twin daughters, Jonina and Joan in infancy; by her parents, Frank and Sophie Werstuik, three sisters, Mary, Annie, and Pearl; four brothers, John, Mike, Alec, and Steve. Left to mourn her passing is her daughter, Phyllis and her husband Bill Hanneson; grandsons, Sean (Laurin), and Lee (Billie); great-grandchildren, Camryn, Reese, Alix, and Jordan; sisters-in-law, Hazel Isfeld of Portage la Prairie, Mamie Ponuik of Quesnel, BC, and Lil Parsons of Amaranth, MB; a cousin Elizabeth (Peter) Medvid in Manchester, England; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Sincere thanks are extended to Dr. Gray, as well as the manor nursing staff for their professionalism, and their loving arms full of hugs. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 12 in the Grace Lutheran Church, Langruth with Rev. Don Lee officiating. Interment will follow in the Langruth Cemetery.
