I was the receptionist at Harris Chev-Olds. and we knew Peter was here when the caddie pulled into the lot and the man in the suit stepped out carrying a pouch of candy and a little red cooler. Peter and I got to know each other well and soon the candy and chocolate bars turned into pies and cinnamon buns. When my first child was born in 1998, Peter came to the hospital with gifts of pies and buns. You will be truely missed, CandyMan. Heaven opened it's gates to another angel!!! Rest in Peace. Uncle Peter, my God Father will always hold a special place in my heart, as a child I remember when he came to visit us in Kenora, he had bags candy for us kids to share then he would take me aside and give me one bag just for me. A few years ago I felt great pride watching a TV show which honoured him as the Candy Man and told my childern what a nice warm and compassionate man he is. God bless you uncle Pete, rest in peace.
