Wesley Barrett appreciated her dedications and encouragement. Phyllis will be always loved and remembered. Mom, Who will we go to now when we need answers? You were always our rock, our safe haven, the one we ran to from the storm. I remember one night when I was young and terrified, you heard my cries, even though you were more than a thousand miles away, you comforted me, you sent me your strength, oh Mom, what are we going to do without you? Did you know how much we loved you? Did you know how much we cared? You and Dad are never far from our thoughts, even when we're miles apart. You inspired me to be everything I can be, even when it took me far away, to another country, to a love that helps keep me strong, a love we know only comes once in a lifetime, like yours and Dad's. The love in your voice shone through when we last spoke and you said, My girl, it's so good to see you so happy. . My happiness lifted you up like a gift you treasured. That was all you wanted for us, our happiness for our place in life to be all we need it to be. Mom, I'm happy with the life I've chosen and if I can become like the strong, loving woman that you will always be in my heart......then I will be all I've ever wanted to be. You were and always will be my inspiration, Mom, know that you were very loved and your memory will always be with us, giving us strength. You gave me the desire to love, to give love and to receive love. Such a precious gift. Thank you Mom, you'll always be in my thoughts and prayers. I love you....Always your girls, Debbie, Brenda, Eleanor and Bobbie. Remembrance celebration will be held on Sunday, March 13 at 7:00 p.m. at Robert and Phyllis's residence in Peguis. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 14 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthew's Anglican Church, Rev. Barry Bear and Rev. Wesley Barrett officiating. Cremation to follow.
