FRANCES LOVATT December 1919 - March 2005 Peacefully, on Saturday, March 5, 2005, Frances passed away at the Grace Hospice. She is survived by one brother, John Lovatt, Calgary, AB; nieces, Glenda Templeton (Keith) Olympia, WA, Stacia Larson, Calgary, AB, Lorraine Elton, Australia, Linda Smith (Ken), Mississauga, ON, Marlene Metzler (Bill), Winnipeg, MB and Marjorie LePage, Dallas, TX; nephews, Don Brockett, Detroit, MI and Marvin Brown, Montana; as well as numerous grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins and friends. Frances was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Dolly Lovatt; sisters, Stella Brown, Edna Brockett and Lena Lovatt; and niece Georgina Kettles. Frances was born near Souris, MB and later attended the Wheat City Business College in Brandon. During the war, she worked as secretary with the Department of National Defence. She moved to Winnipeg in 1946 and worked for Rothmans of Pall Mall Ltd., Order of Elks and Manitoba Attorney-General's Department until her retirement in 1985. In accordance with Frances' wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. A private family interment will take place at a later date. Special thanks to the wonderful care given by the nurses and staff at the Grace Hospice Centre.
