JOHN C. FOUBERT SR. We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our husband and father, John C. Foubert Sr., aged 68 on March 10, 2005 after a brief illness at the Grace General Hospital. John is lovingly remembered by his beloved wife of 46 years Florence (nee Sibilleau), his sons, John (Jennifer), Mike (Marianne); grandson Chad; his brothers, Peter (Germaine), Bernard (Marguerite) and Arthur (Florence) and their families. John was a longtime 31 year employee at Canada Packers. Many friends and acquaintances were made by his great love for entertaining and music. He could attain everyone's attention as soon as he stepped behind the mike and was most likely either singing or drumming. He was always supportive of his sons and their family's endeavours with his constant encouragement. In accordance with John's wishes, cremation has taken place and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 15, Christ the King Parish, 847 St. Mary's Rd. with Fr. Ron Pasinato celebrant. Private interment will follow at a later date. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Glen Lawn Reception Centre following mass. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at the ICU ward at Grace General Hospital for all their care and support with a special thanks to Lillian.
