Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHILDA LOUISE BROOKER February 22, 1919 - March 7, 2005 On Monday, March 7, 2005, Hilda passed away at the age of 86 years. She was predeceased by her husband George Allen Brooker; also by her parents Herbert and Elizabeth Stead. She will be deeply missed by those left to cherish her memory, her daughter Joanne (Gerry) Beke of Edmonton, Alberta, her sons, Dave (Fran) Brooker of Beulah, Manitoba, Court (Betty) Brooker of Qualicum Beach, BC, her sister Joan Rothwell of Calgary, Alberta and her sister-in-law Peggy Brooker of Winnipeg; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also nephews and nieces. The family would like thank the many health care people that provided assistance for our mother. With a special thank you to Doctor Roland Hayward and his staff. Hilda grew up In Neepawa enjoying time at Clear Lake, playing tennis, horseback riding, absorbing music and having fun. Here she met her husband, married and had her three children. She had a passion for music. She loved to listen and participate at musical events where her husband Allen performed. She prepared, hosted and participated at numerous musician parties at their home in Fort Garry and their Clearwater Bay get-away. She had a deep interest in sports. tennis, curling, hockey were followed with intensity. Most recently she cautiously embraced the computer. She enjoyed many of the computer games as well as communicating with friends and family. Her friendships included many lifelong friends. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren cherishing many of her family mementos. Our mother will be deeply missed and remembered daily. Donations may be made in Hilda's memory to a charity of your choice. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 1531 Pembina Highway, Winnipeg, Manitoba on Monday, March 14th. Internment will follow at the Riverside Cemetery in Neepawa, Manitoba for close friends and family. Arrangements entrusted to: VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME CREMATORIUM 1531 Pembina Hwy 284-7500

It’s been three years today since Mom’s passing. Not a day has gone by that she is not thought about. We are certain that her memory will last forever. Miss your caring and great smile. Miss your comments on family sports and news events. Miss you on MSN. Miss you! We are glad that you are in a place where there is; no pain, family, friends, pets (Ben), peace, tennis, good food, good drink, tranquility and many fond memories.
