Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET (PEGGY) MACMILLAN The family of Margaret (Peggy) MacMillan announce her passing on March 9, 2005. Peggy is survived by her daughters, Bernice (Ray) Newson of Burnaby, BC, Joan (Ron) Rentz and Sandy MacMillan, her son-in-law Jim Pointon and her brother Bill, all of Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her husband Neil, sons, David and Russell; daughter Neila; sisters, Eva and Catherine and brother George. Peggy was born in Winnipeg and lived here most of her life. When her youngest child started school Peggy decided to go back to work. She worked in Eaton's Toy department for many years and thoroughly enjoyed going to work everyday. Peggy and Neil enjoyed square dancing where they made many great friends and in retirement joined many of them in Plant City, Florida for the winter. Their summers were spent in Ponemah. The family wishes to thank the staff at Tudor House, Selkirk for the many years of patience and kindness shown to our mother. At Peggy's request cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 19 at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations in Peggy's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba or CancerCare Manitoba.
