THOMAS CHOWEN After a brave and courageous battle with cancer, Tom Chowen, beloved husband of Cheri passed away peacefully at home in Gimli, MB on Thursday, March 10, 2005. He leaves behind a loving, supportive family and many great friends. He loved tennis, golf, fishing and camping with his family and friends. His zest for life was an inspiration for everyone around him. A service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 15 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Glen Lawn Reception Centre. The family would like to send their sincerest appreciation and thank you to the staff at Gimli Hospital, ICU Health Sciences Centre, Selkirk Hospital and special heartfelt thank you to Dr. Montoedi and Dr. Anozie. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gimli Palliative Care, P.O. Box 250, Gimli, MB R0C 1B0. Arrangements entrusted to: Glen Lawn Funeral Home 455 Lagmodiere Blvd. 982-7550

  • I am retired now but was the Regional Sales Mgr at Alcatel Canada Wire. Tom was very involved with our Company. We /I always enjoyed doing business together with Tom and most of all we became good friends in the process. Always getting toghether for dinners/ golf when I came in from Vancouver.
