Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELEANOR (ANN) LUNDY (nee KORMILO) Eleanor passed away at the Grace Hospital on Friday, March 11, 2005 at the age of 92 years. Born at St. Andrews, MB on January 19, 1913, Eleanor was predeceased by her beloved husband Robert Francis Lundy in June 1976. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Doreen Richmond of Cypress River, MB and Audrey Lundy of Calgary; as well as her dearly loved grandchildren, Brent (Laurel) McLennan of Calgary, Doug (Mary Ann) McLennan of Edmonton, Susan McLennan of Winnipeg and Colin (Barbara) McLennan of Baldur, MB. She will also be lovingly remembered by her great-grandchildren, Matthew, Dallas, Jessica, Derek, Cole, Kari and Keith; and a special family friend Shirley Brown. Eleanor will be sadly missed by her brother Mike Kormilo of Arizona; sister Tillie Siemens of Winnipeg; sisters-in-law, Olga Kormilo of Winnipeg and Lillian Warren of Victoria; as well as her nieces and nephews. Employed as a seamstress for many years, Eleanor particularly enjoyed her time working at the Manitoba School for the Deaf. A long time resident of Charleswood, she loved her home, her yard and her Deer Pets . Funeral service will be held at the Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway on Wednesday, March 16 at 12:30 p.m. with the Rev. Joanne Kury officiating. Following a reception at the funeral home, private interment will take place at Brookside Cemetery. Although Eleanor loved flowers, flowers are graciously declined. Her family request, that in lieu of flowers, donations in her memory be made to a charity of choice. Doreen, Audrey and their families wish to extend special thanks to the caring staff of 3 West at the Grace Hospital. Granny, you will be missed dearly and will always be in our hearts.
