OLGA SMOLE (nee DANYLUK) Passed away peacefully at Park Manor Personal Care Home on March 11, 2005. She was predeceased by her dear husband Frank; mother and father, Xania and Peter; brother Leonard; and sisters, Jessie (John Zulhowski) and Ann (Vince Moreno). She is survived by her nephew Leslie (Myrna) Zulkowski, Derek and Russell Zulkowski and family; numerous relatives, dear former neighbours and friends who have always kept in touch; and special dear friend Steve Kowalchuk and family who were always there for her with a helpful hand and an encouraging word. Olga was born and educated in Transcona, enjoying sports, especially baseball, music and later gardening. Olga worked as a Matron for the CNIB and was affectionately called Danny by the residents. Nursing also filled her years as a housemother at the Church Home for Girls. Olga was very active in the community, volunteering many hours at Park Manor and belonging to the Park Manor Auxiliary. She was a former tenant of East Park Lodge. Special thanks to the Park Manor administrative staff, Nursing and Dietary department for their many years of loving kindness, care and support. As per Olga's request an immediate cremation will be performed and there will be no service or reception. If friends desire, contributions in Olga's memory may be made to the Park Manor Personal Care Home Inc. at 301 Redonda St., Winnipeg, MB R2C 1L7.   • Olga was a very positive and valued member of the Park Manor Auxilliary for many years. Olga gave of herself with many hours of caring and nurturing of the residents of Park Manor Care Home. Her presence was always there with her many Sunday morning reminders of our monthly Tuesday meetings. She will be sadly missed by all the member. Thank you Olga. We will miss you. May God now smile upon you as you enter into eternal peace.
