ALEXANDER GEORGE SINCLAIR Peacefully with his family and friends by his side, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Alexander G. Sinclair, of Peguis, MB, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, at the Percy E. Moore Hospital at the age of 70 years. He leaves to cherish his memory, beloved wife of 51 years, Mabel; his children, Dennis Daniels, Darlene (Harold), Garry (Lucy), Dwight, Oliver, Cindy, Myra (Donald) and special grandson/son, Brian; numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; also mourning his memory are brothers and sisters, Edna McPherson, Dorothy (Cyril) Stevenson, Loreen Megan, William (Myrtle), Evelyn, Christy, Andrew, Cybil Patton, Kenny (Doris) and Norman Lloyd (Lynn) Sinclair-Clemons. Alexander was predeceased by his parents, Alexander George Sr. and Martha; daughter Martha Anne and two infant children; grandson Donovan Wayne Attley; granddaughter Ashley Dawn; great-grandson William; sisters, Amy Kirkness and Bernice Inkster. Alexander was born on Peguis First Nation. After marrying his wife Mabel, they resided in Peguis. Alexander was a commercial fisherman for 35 years on Lake Winnipeg and also worked as security at the Peguis Mall for several years before retiring in October 1998. Alex will be remembered as a very hard working man, who was always willing to lend a hand when needed. He will be remembered also for his laughter and numerous stories he shared with many. He will be sorely missed by all. Wake services were held on Sunday, March 13 and on Monday, March 14 at 8:00 p.m., each evening, at the Peguis Apostolic Church. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 15 at 2:00 p.m., with a viewing beginning at 1:00 p.m., at the St. Peter's Anglican Church, Peguis, MB. Rev. Wesley Barrett and Rev. Barry Bear officiating. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Anglican Cemetery. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at Percy E. Moore Hospital, Peguis Health Centre and the Peguis Chief and Council, also numerous friends and family for their love and support.
