Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryARTHUR CROOK July 8, 1920 - March 12, 2005 It is with sadness and sorrow that the family announces the passing of their beloved father and grandfather, Arthur Crook on Saturday, March 12, 2005 at the Victoria General Hospital. Arthur leaves to cherish his memories, his daughter Sandra (Don) Richmond, son Ken (Barb), daughter Alexis Herrin, grandchildren, Brandon, Trevor, Leasa, Cherise and Jasmine (Jay) and three great-grandchildren. Arthur's parents emigrated from England in 1910 and dad was born in St. James on July 8, 1920. Arthur King Crook was employed with MTS as a backhoe operator for 30 years from which he retired in 1985. Arthur was an associate member of the St. James Legion. He enjoyed helping anyone who needed a hand, or a ride, he had a love for dancing, and was a wonderful father. All who knew and loved him felt his kindness. Dad we love you and we will miss the twinkle in your eye and your contagious smile. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 18 at the Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson Foundation of Canada (Winnipeg Chapter) 825 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3G 0P1.
