Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGRACE NORMA GRESCHNER (nee BOLTON) July 10, 1927 - March 12, 2005 Peacefully on Saturday, March 12, Norma passed away at Concordia Place Centre with her husband, Andrew, at her side. Norma was born in Windsor, ON, youngest child of Fredrick and Constance Bolton. As a child Norma resided in England in pre, and during post Second World War. Norma returned to Canada in 1947. Norma was employed at Scott Bathgate and enlisted in the Reserve Army, there she met the love of her life Andrew and they married in November 1954. Together they built their life and their family. Norma retired after the birth of her daughter Joanne. In the early 70s Norma returned to the work force, she volunteered at Salisbury School and then gained full time employment as a school secretary at Morse Place Junior High School. Norma then decided to take her real retirement in 1987. Norma and Andy enjoyed traveling and socializing with family and friends all through their lives together. Norma is predeceased by her parents; brother Peter; and sister Patricia. She is survived by her husband Andrew; daughter Joanne and Guy McMahon and step-grandson Derek; brothers-in-law, William Beckett and Robert Greschner and sisters-in-law, Margaret Lenard, Betty Jeffrey, and Joan Pilkington. Norma's family would like to express their deep appreciation to the staff of the 3rd floor at Concordia Place Care Centre for their care and support. Memorial services for Norma will be on Friday, March 18 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Glen Eden Funeral Home with reception to follow. Flowers gratefully declined, please make a donation, in Norma's memory, to the Winnipeg Humane Society or to a charity of one's choice.
