Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDouglas Charles Grant of Calgary passed away at the Chinook Care Centre on Sunday, March 13, 2005 at the age of 72 years during which he was a survivor of cancer but ultimately taken by a stroke. Douglas was born on December 23, 1932 in Pine Falls, MB.Douglas is survived by his beloved wife Linda; and will be sadly missed by his children / stepchildren and their spouses, Heather (Kelly), Lynn (Greg), Terry (Patty), Debbie, Nadia (Darren), Ronnie (Deb), Susan, Lorraine, Paul (Judy); and his 25 grandchildren, Morgan, Patrick, Andrew, Kayla, Levi, Darcy, Corbin, Skylar, Deanna, Cory, Desiree, Samantha, Sharene, Mike, Tyler, Josh, Stacey, Steven, Crystal, Bernadette, Johna, Jullian, Brandon, Kendra, Jenny; and two great-grandchildren; sisters, Maxine, Yvonne, Agnes; and many friends, cousins and other relatives. Predeceased by two brothers and seven sisters and his parents. A memorial service will held at St. Bernadette's Church, 7103 - 20A Street S.E., Calgary on Friday, March 18 at 11:00 a.m. a luncheon will follow. Many thanks to the staff at the Chinook Care Centre for taking loving care of Douglas. If friends so desire in lieu of flowers memorial tributes can be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Tom Baker Cancer Centre in his memory.
