Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET MAY PAYNE January 12, 1923 - March 8, 2005 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Margaret May Payne, Tuesday, March 8, 2005, at her room at the Snow Lake Personal Care Home, age 82 years. Margaret was born Friday, January 12, 1923, at Portage La Prairie, MB. Margaret is survived by her children, William Payne (Lorna) of Winnipeg, Lynda Pronger (Fred) of Snow Lake, Shirley Payne of Flin Flon, Irene Posnikoff (Larry) of Vancouver, BC; grandchildren, Steven and Sarah Payne, Ryan and Shannon Pasnikoff, Robert and Archie Pronger (Helen); great-grandson Mason Pronger; sister Irene Ashby (Alexander); brother Raymond McLeson (Wanda); brother-in-law Jack Baillie. She was predeceased by her husband Archie Alfred Payne; parents, William and Ann McLeson; sisters, Mary Baillie, Evelyn Smale (Don), Audrey Strother-Stewart. The funeral service will be held Sunday, March 20, 2:00 p.m. at the Christian Centre, Snow Lake, MB with Rev. Conelius Plett presiding. Honorary pallbearers are Snow Lake Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary Members. Interment will take place in Brookside Cemetery, Snow Lake. If friends so desire, donations to the Snow Lake Legion Ladies Auxiliary, c/o Grace Young, Box 70, Snow Lake, MB, R0B 1M0 or the Flin Flon SPCA, c/o Christie's Flowers (Linda Lowe), 115 Main St., Flin Flon, MB, R8A 1J9, would be appreciated by Margaret's family.
