HELENE MYSAK Peacefully and surrounded by her family, our dear aunty Helene Mysak, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 84 years. Helene will be remembered and sadly missed by her sisters-in-law, Anne and Mildred and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother Anne and father Paul; sister Mary; brothers, Fred, Joe and Mike and niece Olga. Helene was born on June 29, 1920 in Winnipeg where she resided all of her life. She was employed in the Garment Industry for many years until her retirement. Aunty Helene resided at the German Manor where she was always participating in activities and had made many friends. She was a very strong, independent, caring woman and very dedicated to her many nieces and nephews. She loved having her great-nieces and nephews coming to see her. Special thanks to the wonderful 3rd floor, Unit 3 staff at Seven Oaks Hospital who looked after Aunty Helene for almost a year and special thanks to her angel Lesley. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 18 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Helene's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Dear Lord Put your arms around her, Hold her in your care, Make up for all she suffered, And all she had to bear. She went through much in silence, Her spirit did not bend, She faced her trials with courage, Until the very end. It broke our hearts to lose her, But she did not go alone, For part of us went with her, The day God called her home. We love you and will miss you very much. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
