WALTER HUDDLESTON February 28, 1911 - March 14, 2005 Peacefully, on March 14, 2005, at Donwood Manor, Walter Huddleston went home to be with the Lord at the age of 94 years. Walter was predeceased by his loving wife, Jean (2001); parents William Huddleston and Ellen Robinson; sisters, Kathleen and Florence; brothers, William, Jack, Fred and Harry. Left to cherish his memory are daughters, Gertrude (Arthur) and Dorothy (Henry); and son Raymond (Luisa). He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Janice (Vince), Amber, Kevin; Barbara (Gary), Ron (Ursula), Robert (Denise); Jamie (Natalie) and Tracy (Sean); great-grandchildren, Justin, Kayla, Rorie, Mercedes, Melissa, Chad and Brandon. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Donwood Manor for their great compassion and kindness. Viewing will take place at the Edward J. Coutu Funeral Home, 680 Archibald, Friday, March 18, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at East Kildonan Baptist Church, 700 Watt St., on Saturday, March 19 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Walter's name to East Kildonan Baptist Church or a charity of your choice. Those who hope in the Lord, will renew their Strength.
